#ChapelHillShooting victim: Anti-Semite and pro-terrorist

Posted on 1:37 AM by john corner
If you read the comments this morning, you would have seen that someone has taken me to task for having the gall to tell people not to cry too much over Kayla Mueller. I'm sure there will be people who will criticize this post as well.

Random thoughts about random things

Andrew McCarthy has some random thoughts about the things that folks do.

I don’t understand why folks are giving
President Obama and his spokes-minions such a hard time over his
insistence that Ahmedy Coulibaly, the terrorist who just happened to be
Muslim committing terrorism that had nothing to do with Islam, was just
“randomly” picking out folks in Paris to kill when he randomly came

Krauthammer: Administration Looked Silly Pretending Terrorist Attack was not Anti-Semitic

Charles Krauthammer said it was foolish for the Obama administration to

Cross Jeb Bush off my list?

Posted on 6:08 AM by john corner

I may be able to cross Jeb Bush off the list of potential candidates for whom I would vote. The Wall Street Journal reports that Bush's foreign policy is more likely to be like his father's than his brother's. George W. Bush may not have been perfect (although between 2002-05 he was awfully close to it), but he was far better than his father, George H.W. Bush, whose hostility to Israel has only

Why Netanyahu must go to Washington

BGR Group founder and lobbyist Ed Rogers explains why Prime Minister Netanyahu must come to Washington.

Krauthammer: 'Obama has less personal sympathy for Israel than any other President'

Posted on 11:03 AM by john corner
A reminder that I am in Boston where the Sabbath has not started yet.

Over the past week, I've heard a lot of talk comparing President Obama's relations with Israel with those of American Presidents who seemed more friendly, but with whom we also had disagreements: Reagan, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and so on.

But with Obama... it's different. Here's Charles Krauthammer. Let's go to the

Here we go again: 12 Israelis wounded in terror attack on Tel Aviv bus

Posted on 12:59 AM by john corner

12 Israelis have been wounded - three of them seriously - in a terror attack aboard a Tel Aviv bus on Wednesday morning.

The assailant, a 23-year-old male from the West Bank city of
Tulkarem who entered Israel illegally, was shot in the leg by an Israel
Prison Service officer on Hamasger Street, near the scene of the
incident, and taken into custody.

The attack took place on Bus number

Alberto Nisman did not commit suicide and the AMIA bombing was not 'unsolved'

Posted on 2:59 PM by john corner

David Horovitz is certain that Argentinian prosecutor Alberto Nisman did not commit suicide and that the AMIA bombing is not 'unsolved.' We all know who was behind it: Iran and Hezbullah.

Perednik despairs at the naivete of anyone
prepared to countenance that a prosecutor who has spent a decade heading
a 30-strong team investigating the worst terror attack ever committed
in Argentina; who

Does France have any regrets?

Posted on 9:17 AM by john corner

Recently #France voted to recognize a "state of #Palestine"

They should have regrets. But they won't. Because this is the soft bias of diminished expectations. They expect the 'Palestinians' to be ungrateful savages. And they will continue to serve them anyway.

They came for the Jews. Will you speak out even if you are not a Jew?

Posted on 5:37 AM by john corner

One of the things that was driven home by the terror attack on the Paris Hyper Cacher supermarket is that they are still coming for us Jews, long after 'they' have stopped coming for most others. In England, they are feeling that lesson from up close. But is anyone non-Jewish feeling it?

A couple of days after the Charlie Hebdo attack, I did a debate with the
Guardian’s Simon Jenkins on

UN Observer Force crying over Hezbullah deaths

Posted on 1:23 PM by john corner

The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force in the Golan Heights says that Israel carried out Sunday's strike with drones (not helicopters as previously reported) and says that the strike violated the disengagement agreement.

The United Nations Disengagement Observer Force in the Golan Heights

Would the Obama administration ever issue postage stamps like these?

Posted on 11:30 AM by john corner

The postage stamp pictured above is newly issued by Canada. That's not a big deal until you ask yourself whether any other country - including the United States under Obama - would ever consider issuing such a stamp (Hat Tip: Jerry G via The American Thinker).

Let's hear for Stephen Harper and his government!
